Dr. Christian Liedtke
Dr. Christian Liedtke is a Mechanical Engineer by education. He currently serves as Operations Manager of KUKA Digital, a business segment of one of the world’s largest manufacturers of industrial robots, the KUKA SE & Co. KgaA in Augsburg, Germany. His responsibilities include serving as President and Chairman of the Board of the Open Industry 4.0 Alliance. Before joining KUKA in 2017, he was the CEO of a small consulting company, opexco GmbH, located close to Augsburg, Germany, for almost four years. Prior to that, he acted as COO of a medium-sized consulting company, MR Plan, in Donauwoerth, Germany, for two years. Before turning towards consulting, Christian worked as a Vice President of Operations in production and plant management for two companies for a combined eight years – Viscom AG in Hanover, Germany and Heye International GmbH located in Obernkirchen, Germany. Prior to his career in the industry and subsequent to his studies, he spent four years as a research assistant and general manager of a collaborative research center at the University of Hanover in Germany, where he also received his Ph.D.
